Pulling in funds for WRAS
Published Date:

Wildlife charity worker Trevor Weeks has given up pushing for donations - he has decided to pull instead.
Trevor is founder of the East Sussex Wildlife Rescue and Ambulance Service (WRAS).
He is soon to take to the road in a hefty challenge when he will pull the WRAS ambulance along the seafront to raise much needed funds for the charity.
Trevor, who is on call with other volunteers ready to help injured animals, has come up with the idea to meet fuel bills and other expenses of those who already help WRAS without pay.
Trevor is looking for people to help raise funds and take part in the event, which he hopes will take place on Eastbourne seafront later this year.
He said, "I've been undertaking rescue work for over 22 years now and it is always tight at this time of year."
Anyone willing to help raise funds should contact Trevor via
e-mail on trevor@iar.org.uk or call 07815 078234.
