HUGE tailbacks were sparked at Boship roundabout after a police chase.
Officers stopped a car on Thursday afternoon on the A22 at Hailsham following a robbery at a jeweller's shop in Cliffe High Street, Lewes.

The alarm was raised when a number of people were seen smashing the window of the shop and entering before making off in a car. There are no reports of injuries.
Police are searching the area and as a result, there is local traffic congestion. Three people were arrested at the scene and a fourth is still being sought.
