New faces at parish council

WILLINGDON and Jevington Parish Council has welcomed two new members of staff.
The new parish clerk and finance officer is Graham Parish, who is a charted management accountant with more than 30 years' local authority experience gained at East Sussex County Council (Highways), Wealden District Council and Seaford Town Council.

Karen Crowhurst has been appointed assistant clerk and financial assistant.

Karen was community development project manager for the Hailsham Trust and has had many years' experience within the community and voluntary sector.

Council chairman John Pritchett said, "Between them they have a wealth of experience which can only be an asset to the parish."
