HOMES in Langney were left without water after a main burst on Sunday afternoon.

The five inch cast iron main burst in Etchingham Road affecting supplies to around 60 properties in the immediate area, including Gainsborough Crescent and Bromley Close.
Engineers were called in to isolate the burst section of water main and then managed to use other parts of the water supply network to restore supplies to affected customers by the evening.
The actual pipe repair was completed by contractors just before 1am Monday morning.
A spokesperson for South East Water said, "We would like to apologise to our customers for any inconvenience."
