STUDENT host families were treated to a Christmas shopping trip at Calais's Cite Europe.

Jürgen Matthes hired seven coaches and took his loyal host families to France.
Jürgen has 27 years' experience and has brought 120,000 German students to Eastbourne for language courses.
They have all stayed with local host families and Jürgen said, "The families look after my students in such a caring way that 17,000 of have returned to Eastbourne for a second or third time — the record is 12.
"This shows that the Germans like Eastbourne and its lovely people."
This comes after the town was recently voted the best UK summer town of 2008 by global language school EF and was also named the third best destination worldwide.
To become one of Jürgen's host families for next year call 744020. (C)
