GOLFERS have been busy fundraising to raise money for two charities.
A cheque for £5,500 was presented to representatives of club captain Colin Ayling's chosen charity Demelza House and to the ladies captain Penny Valentine's charity Breakthrough Breast Cancer, at the Royal Eastbourne Golf Club, at the end of the club's fundraising charity day.

The money has been raised over the year from a series of events, including sales from a recipe book Penny put together using recipes from club members.

The golfers will continue to raise money for the two chosen charities until the end of the year when the club captains are changed.
