THE first phase of the £2.5m refurb at the David Lloyd Club is now complete with the new gym opening to members tomorrow (Saturday) at 10am.

The club first opened its doors to the public 22 years ago as an indoor tennis centre and original 'Ball Park' directors Brian Renn and Clay Isles will be present at the opening.
The first floor refurbishment incorporates two new studios, one keiser cycle room and new state of the art gym which has doubled in size. The gym includes new Technogym resistance equipment and new Lifefitness CV and free weights.
Phase two of the works starts in January and will incorporate complete refurbishment of the ground floor facilities including reception, clubroom and changing rooms. It will take around 12 weeks
Tours of the new facilities are available to the public on December 27, 28 and 29 at 12 noon, 2pm and 4pm. To book a visit in advance call 509972.
