The following planning applications were rejected by Eastbourne Borough Council:
n TOWN planners have turned down planning permission for renovations at 46 The Goffs, Eastbourne.

n PLANS to build a two storey extension at the front of 23 Macmillan Drive along with a single storey extension at the rear were refused by Eastbourn
e's planning committee.

n DEVELOPERS' plans to build two homes on land at 80 Meads Street have been turned down.
Town planners said they would prefer to see just one home built on the site which was part of St Andrew's School grounds.

n A BID to install UPVC windows on the first and second floor above Papa John's Pizza in Seaside has been thrown out.
Members of Eastbourne Borough Council's planning committee said the proposed windows were not traditional material and out of keeping with the character and appearance of the conservation area.

n A HOMEOWNER at 13 Southdown Road has lost his second bid to get planning permission for a greenhouse in his back garden.
The owner offered to install obscure glass in the windows of the building which is 23 metres away from the nearest property.
But town planners refused retrospective planning permission at their meeting on Tuesday night.

n A DEVELOPER'S bid to retain a garage at Granville Crest in Bolsover Road has failed for the second time.
Neighbours say the garage is an eyesore and is out of keeping with the area and members of Eastbourne Borough Council's planning committee agreed and refused planning permission.

n TOWN planners have refused planning permission for a retail shop 72 Cavendish Place to be turned into a self-contained studio flat.
