Body found on the beach

THE BODY of a woman was discovered on an Eastbourne beach over the Bank Holiday weekend.
A walker spotted the body, which had been was ashore on a beach at Holywell, shortly after 7am Sunday morning and raised the alarm.

Police were called along with the coroner's officer but the woman's death is not being treated as suspicious.
Enquiries are still ongoing to identify the woman who is believed to be in her late 30s.
