HUNDREDS of runners pounded through the town at the weekend for the Eastbourne Half Marathon.
Almost 900 runners braved tough conditions to run the 13-mile race which began in Princes Park and saw athletes race through Meads and Sovereign Harbour.
The runners raised thousands of pounds for local charities.
MORE than 40 walls and garage doors in Eastbourne were vandalised in just one weekend when the town suffered a graffiti spree.
Alleyways around Seaford Road were the worst affected by the street art ‘tags’ with blue and pink paint sprayed on the surrounding areas.
