After their sell-out concert last year, Yes Sir Boss return to Eastbourne College’s Birley Centre on Saturday, October 13 (8.30pm) with their new album, Desperation State.

Having captivated audiences across the UK, Yes Sir Boss have been heralded for their energetic shows, earning them a reputation as one of Britain’s most dynamic new live bands.

“At our gigs, you can expect a mixture of musical influences and tight musicianship,” promises front man Matt Sellors.

And he’s not wrong. Last summer they completed a 40-date tour, including headline slots at the likes of Glastonbury, Latitude, Bestival, Electric Picnic and Green Man, even finding time to record a Radio 1 Maida Vale session with Rob Da Bank.

The Desperation State album is a seamless blend of instant hooks, offbeat rhythms and epic riffs, encompassing elements of everything from ska, roots and reggae, to jazz, funk and indie.

Yes Sir Boss are half-way through their Desperation State tour after supporting Joss Stone in London and throughout Europe. Tickets £10/£7.50 concessions, available from 452255 or boxoffice@eastbourne-college.co.uk
