The Eastbourne Nomads Angling Club hosted the Anderida SAC competition recently with Les Glazzard and Jim Whippy claiming top spot in the pairs for 2014.
The KO champions fished the final in gale force winds along the beaches of Pevensey Bay.
The Anderida competition final took place on Thursday, December 18.
The duo won with 10lb 7ozs, made up of codling, whiting, pout and dogfish, beating Phil Taylor and Colin Everest in the process, who weighed in a combined total of 8lb 11ozs in second place.
Whippy won the title last year with Rod Reynolds as his partner but Glazzard, a new club member, was fishing in his first club final and impressed. Dan Wood is club champion for 2014 with Colin Issacs taking the runner-up spot after a close run contest.
