Richard Durrant, arguably the leading concert guitarist of his generation, comes to Eastbourne next month with a brand-new show for 2013.
And a special treat for the young-at-heart everywhere will be Durrant’s 10th-anniversary tribute to the late, great Freddie Phillips.
Phillips died in 2003, but his guitar music lives on in the accompaniment to the much-loved BBC TV trilogy of programmes – Camberwick Green, Trumpton and Chigley.
Richard Durrant is a world-class virtuoso with a flair for presentation and a warm and easy rapport that has endeared him to audiences.
Local music fans can see the 50-year-old maestro in action on May 10 (7.30pm). Tickets cost £10, call 0845 6801926.
