ONE of the UK’s best-known and best-loved comics returns to Eastbourne. For one night only Lee Evans will be at the Congress Theatre on July 11 (8pm).

Lee last appeared at the Congress Theatre, Eastbourne in the Big Tour in 2008 which completely sold out.
Tickets for this latest show, Work in Progress which is a warm-up gig prior to his huge arena tour Roadrunner, are also sure to sell out.
He is undoubtedly one of the country’s favourite comics and his stand-up performances are legendary.
Ex-boxer Lee has captured audiences’ and critics’ imaginations with his irrepressible physicality and disarming charm. He has won numerous and covered awards including the Perrier and Time Out award for comedy.
A comic, musician, writer and actor Lee has starred in some of the biggest films of recent years including; There’s Something About Mary opposite Ben Stiller and Cameron Diaz, Mouse Hunt with Nathan Lane and The Fifth Element with Bruce Willis and Gary Oldman.
