The acclaimed Agatha Christie Theatre Company returns to the Devonshire Park Theatre in Eastbourne with a stunning adaptation of queen of crime Agatha Christie’s Go Back for Murder from April 22-27. Liza Goddard (right) leads the cast, being perhaps best known for her long running role in Bergerac and the game show Give Us a Clue.
She last appeared in Eastbourne in She Stoops to Conquer and the comedy The Grass is Greener.
The star line-up continues with Sophie Ward whose extensive TV credits include the BBC period drama Land Girls as well as Heartbeat and Holby City.
Adapted by Christie in the 1960s from her earlier novel called Five Little Pigs, Go Back for Murder tells the story of Carla Le Marchant who lives with a disturbing family secret; her mother died in prison while serving life for killing her husband. Suspects, secrets and red herrings abound in this thrilling new production which follows the hugely successful adaptations of; The Hollow, Unexpected Guest, And Then There Were None, Spider’s Web, Witness For The Prosecution, Verdict, and Murder on the Nile. A classic ‘Whodunit’ packed with intrigue, murder and suspense.
Go Back For Murder will be nightly at 7.45pm with 2.30pm matinees on the Wednesday and Saturday, tickets priced from £15 - £21 with concessions available.
