Choir’s Musical Night at the Movies

Do you ever hum or sing a famous tune but cannot remember which movie it came from? Well this is your chance to find out as you are sure to recognise the music as Concentus Chorale present an ‘action packed’ evening entitled ‘A Musical Night At The Movies!’

Included in a varied programme will be well-known medleys from hit films including the much-acclaimed James Bond, My Fair Lady, Grease and a mixture of Broadway Blockbusters plus other all- time greats including My Heart Will Go On, the theme music to Mission Impossible, Moon River, Nella Fantasia, Nessun Dorma, One Fine Day and I’ve Got Rhythm. Then, in complete contrast, the choir recall smagical moments of classics including, O Fortuna, Dies Irae and the William Tell Overture! And in a salute to timeless films of comedy, the choir will lead the audience in singing Good-Bye-Ee, Lambeth Walk and Wish Me Luck As You Wave Me Goodbye!

The concert is once again being led by Director of Music, Adrian White within the beautiful setting of St Leonard’s Parish Church, Church Street, Seaford, on Saturday, June 22, 7.30pm.

Local soprano Sukhi Hersee will add colour and passion to a number of solo items within the programme.
