Published Date: 07 October 2008
ON SATURDAY afternoon we are going to skate from Kestrel House Nursing Centre in Eastbourne to Hailsham, via Polegate and the Cuckoo Trail, in aid of breast cancer.
If the weather is as it was last weekend we will walk the distance rather than cancel the event.
We are planning on having a tea stop at the Old Loom Mill en route.
If you see us please give us some encouragement and we will have a bucket for any donations you would like to give. We are hoping to raise hundreds of pounds and are off to a good start already with sponsorship. We would like to thank those people who have already sponsored us. – Mikaela Westguard and Angelina Moon (Kestrel House staff), and Chloe Freeman, Eastbourne.
