Respect for local heroes

My wife and I often holiday in Eastbourne and read your website to keep abreast of news in your area.
It always saddens us to read of reports of Beachy Head. We feel the team of coastguards do not receive the
recognition they deserve for the harrowing work they do. Following a
conversation with a member of the team on a recent visit, we
understand that these brave individuals have full time jobs whilst
providing this invaluable service to the families involved and the local community. Please express our utmost respect to these local heroes.
