Get real Boris, you're wrong

I support Richard Bruton in his personal reply to the view of Boris, London's blond bombshell, stating that Eastbourne will not feature in his holiday plans.
I am now 78 and I grew up in Eastbourne from a young age from 1939. I am proud of this fact – what a lovely delightful seaside resort it is. Lovely downland to the west and a wonderful seafront with first class hotels and good facilities in general, and our Arndale Centre is a first class shopping centre. I loved my home town as a young man and I still love it now. When I take my trips back into Eastbourne on my bus pass I am very emotional as I return once again. I want to end this letter by saying that I lived through the time when the Luftwaffe knocked hell out of our lovely town but it did survive to be the number one coastal resort again – long live our wonderful town. Don't let anyone run it down – get real Boris, you are so wrong.
