Friends say thank you

May I extend our sincere thanks to all the people of Eastbourne, Seaford, Hailsham and surrounding villages who contributed to the success of the recent Friends of Eastbourne Hospitals charity collection week which ran from September 1-6.
We raised £3,029 which will now be added to our 2008/9 Pevensey Ward appeal – the creation of new facilities for patients undergoing treatment for cancer and other blood related illnesses. – Dr Peter Nash, chairman, Friends of Eastbourne Hospitals.
