Following the letter Don't miss out on your benefits – Herald August 1, I would like to point out that there are a number of charities and non-profit making organisations, both local and national, that provide free advice and help claiming benefits.
Citizens Advice Bureaux provide free and impartial advice on entitlement to benefits and support in making a claim.
Community Legal Service Direct may also be able to help as well as specific organisations such as Age Concern and East Sussex Disability Association.
