Developing the wrong way

Let's not be persuaded that the developers at Regency Park (ex-Wartling Road lorry park) are a cuddly bunch of philanthropists, just because they are building a community centre.
The blocks of flats are a blot on the landscape, and living in them will send residents rushing like lemmings to the sea. How did this development get planning permission? Where are lorries parking? Add this further horror to the horror that is proposed at the Langney Shopping Precinct - a MECCA site - and you cannot help coming to the conclusion that developers and the council do not have the interests of ordinary people at heart.
