Last week LibDems were accused of breaking election promises.
In response:
1. LibDems promised to fight pay-to-park and continue to do so.
2. Council tax has risen in line with inflation only, as promised.
3. To write a blank cheque to fund a judicial review on maternity closures at the DGH would not be passed by council auditors.
We would appreciate Conservative-run councils following our lead in providing £40,000 to fight the maternity closures. – Cllr Alex Hough, Upperton Ward.
