TICKETS are selling fast for next month's festival celebrating the 30th anniversary of one of music's most iconic concerts.
The One Love festival takes place at the Observatory Arts Arena at Herstmonceux Castle between August 15 and 17.
The three-night event is set deep within a woodland clearing, beneath the Isaac Newton Observatory building.
The festival will off
er something for everyone with more than 100 performing artists and visual DJs playing a selection of reggae, dub, chillout and electronica.
The other attractions include food from around the globe, a treetop boulevard market, healing area, interactive art trail, Maypole dancers and chill-out areas, as well as a mysterious, hidden sound system dotted among the woodland.
The event marks 30 years since the One Love concert in Kingston, Jamaica, when Bob Marley joined the hands of bitter political rivals Michael Manley and Edward Seaga on stage as a symbol of what could be achieved through unity.
Following the One Love concert, the opposing factions — having seen their leaders were not hell-bent on killing each other — cooled down the conflict.
Weekend camping tickets cost £70. For more information visit www.onelovefestival.co.uk
