AS building work continues on its new store, Tesco is to hold open days in Hailsham this weekend for potential new staff.
With just three months until the store is up and running, Tesco is hosting an employment exhibition at the Town House in Market Street on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
The company says it will give potential applicants 'a flavour of what it is like to work at Tesco', including information about pay, benefits, support and training.
Nick Gellatly, regional corporate affairs manager, said, "We hope as many people in Hailsham who are interested will come along to find out if a career with Tesco is right for them.
"We really want the people in our new store to reflect the community they serve and those who come along will find a great mix of jobs which are both interesting and flexible and really fit in with the demands of modern life."
