HERSTMONCEUX School's autumn ball takes place at the village hall on Saturday evening (October 11) from 7.30pm to 12.30am.
The all-ticket affair will feature a live band, disco,
three-course meal, raffle and an auction of promises which includes items such as flying lessons, riding lessons, having your ironing done and even being headteacher for the day.

Four enthusiastic members of the Friends of Herstmonceux School got dressed up at 8.30am recently to encourage parents and their friends to join them at the ball (pictured).

Tickets cost £15 and all proceeds will go towards raising funds for the school's ICT projects and improving the school's environment for the children.

To buy tickets, call Richard Moon on 832362.
