FORMER Herstmonceux organist Mick Leary came back to the area on Wednesday (September 10) to entertain members and guests of the Hailsham Organ Club.
Mick left Herstmonceux for a new life in Norfolk three years ago but returned to area with his Hammond organ and Yamaha keyboard for a performance at the Hailsham Pavilion.

His varied programme included a Gershwin medley, The Petite Waltz, Latin American numbers and The Chorus of the Hebrew Slaves.

The Hailsham Organ Club meets on the second Wednesday of every month at the Pavilion when a top guest performer puts on a show of live music for just £5 — or less if you are a member.

For more details call the Pavilion's box office on 841414 or phone 01263 860844 for a free copy of the club's latest newsletter.
