A SCREENING of the popular musical Grease at the Hailsham Pavilion raised £1,222 for St Wilfrid's Hospice.
Some of the audience entered into the spirit of the occasion by dressing up in 1950s costume and everyone sung along to the film's famous soundtrack.
Louise Teixeira, events fundraiser at St Wilfrid's Hospice, said, "We are very grateful to Paul Nunney, general manager of Hailsham Pavilion, and the volunteers for their hard work on the night and for screening Grease to raise money for St Wilfrid's Hospice.
"We are now planning future film nights." (C)
