Man arrested after assault on woman

A MAN has been arrested after a violent assault behind a town centre pub.

A woman in her late 20s was attacked at around 2am on May 3 at the rear car park of the Corn Exchange.
Police described her attacker as 5 ft 8in, wearing a grey striped jumper and jeans. He had been drinking in the Corn Exchange on the night of the assault.
