THE firm dealing with the sale of the former Abbott Group joinery plant says it hopes to find a buyer in the 'next two to three months'.

Tingley Commercial said it had spoken to several potential buyers for the Golden Cross site, which became available after Abbott Group's collapse earlier this year.
The failed joinery firm's assets have now been sold off and the tenancy was officially wound up at the start of July.
The site and its buildings are owned by London-based property company, Helical Bar.
Roland Gardner, of Tingley Commercial, said, "We've got two or three interested parties, all of whom are looking into the planning implications of buying the site.
"We hope to have a sale completed in the next two to three months."
Abbott Group, which had operated at the site for more than 35 years, was forced to close after being plunged into financial difficulties.
More than 140 people lost their jobs as a result but eight of its former workers – including some of Abbott's management team – formed a new firm, Vantage Window Systems, at the Station Road Industrial Estate, which opened in May.
