Grovelands presents Oliver

AUDIENCES were asking 'can we have some more?' after two nights of Grovelands School's production of Oliver!

Around 90 children took part in the year six production, which packed out the school hall on both evenings.
Darryl Noel-Davila was impressive in the title role and was backed up by an excellent supporting cast of William Hook (Fagin), Megan Lambert (Nancy), Phoebe Harper (Artful Dodger) and George West (Bill Sykes).
It was produced and directed by the year six teachers, Christine Anderson, Teresa Goss and Richard Slatford.
Headteacher Marion Lace said, "The big choral scenes were particularly well done with every child singing, dancing and moving in complete
harmony.
"The whole thing was a real team effort from staff and children alike and the audience were thrilled by it." (C)
