DRINK-DRIVING on the A22 has cost a woman her licence.

Suzanne Renee, 33, of Hackhurst Lane, Lower Dicker, pleaded guilty at Eastbourne magistrates on Wednesday.
She was travelling northbound on the A22 near the Cophall roundabout when she was pulled over by officers at 10.30pm on April 20.
Alison May, prosecuting, said, "The officer could smell liquor on her breath. She was asked how long it had been since she last had alcohol and she replied 'about three weeks'.
"She was chewing gum at the time and was told to stop. She complied fully at the road side."
A test revealed Renee was one and a half times over the drink-drive limit and she was arrested.
Defending herself, Renee told the court, "It's all true."
She was disqualified from driving for 16 months, fined £200 and told to pay £75 costs.
