Willingdon and Jevington in Bloom launch

WILLINGDON and Jevington in Bloom competition has been launched.
The launch was at Willingdon Library on May 3 and was attended by the chairman of Willingdon and Jevington Parish Council John Pritchett, councillors, sponsors and previous winners.
There are additional categories this year and Councillor Graham Broom, chairman of Willingdon and Jevington in Bloom sub-committee, said the aim is to 'uplift the environment' of Willingdon and Jevington and equip the parish to enter the south east in Bloom competition in the future.
The closing date for entries is June 23 and judging will take place in the first three weeks of July.
