Mayor opens Heritage Centre's annual exhibition

MAYOR Mary Pooley officially opened Eastbourne Heritage Centre's annual exhibition for this year.
The exhibition, The Best Days of Our Lives, is based on school life in Eastbourne from the 16th century to the present day.
There are photographs and artefacts from many of the schools, some of which are no longer, and wall maps showing where the schools are or used to be.
The exhibition, on Carlisle Road, is open seven days a week, from 2pm to 5pm, and costs £1 for adults, 50p for senior citizens and accompanied children get in for free. It is open until October 5.
