A lot of these shops are popping up nowadays. Not all items are bargains, but they do have inexpensive stock ie Coca-Cola, certain toothpastes, biscuits and many others. Poundland seem to offer a better quality than the “Bargains Galore” range.
This branch has a good reputation for pleasant staff……more, (so reported), than can be said of the Worthing one!!

a place to make some great finds from time to time, lots of bargains, can sometimes be a little crowded with longish wait at the checkout, so i tend to go when i am feeling particularly chilled out.The staff are not unpleasant either.

Nice shop :)
We wanted to buy something 2 minutes after they'd closed and we were lucky lucky to get what we wanted :D

I love Poundland. Stationary, bubble wrap for £1. Helps with the business to keep costs low. The food is good, and not usually out of date. But keep your eyes peeled as the supermarkets are at the same price or even cheaper for some products.

Avoid going on weekends, sunny days, and OAP days. As it gets so busy.

As the name suggests, everything costs a pound - although they do lots of “2 for a pound” offers too, so some stuff is even cheaper. It’s not all cheap tat either (although there is plenty of that too ! ) - you can get branded toiletries, food items, etc too. The kids section is brilliant, as is the crafts bit. If you go to their blog online, you can check out what stock will be arriving in advance so you don’t miss the best bargains. It’s busy but worth the queues.

Never ever go on a saturday! The crowds are shocking! However this is no surprise as you can pick up some excellent bargains, if you know what you are looking for! Great deals on christmas decorations also. Easy enough to add up what youre spending (!), queues are long but reduce quickly, go early in the day and you have the store almost to yourself which gives you a chance to sort the junk from the half decent stock.

Everything is a pound. It is in the pedestrian precinct in town. My kids love this shop as a pocket money place, and there are lots of fab bargains. The only problem I think is when you are ready to pay, they have loads of tills which are usually all manned, but there are often horrendous queues. The staff get through them fairly quickly, but I hate to queue!

Always really busy, staff not that helpful but the best bargains to be had for miles. A huge variety of stock with definately something for everyone. Once you have been and seen, you WILL return!

Good variety of bits and bobs for the house in this shop, all at a great price. If you go in here, its almost guaranteed you will buy something for a pound, unless you have a young child or a push chair then its a fight to the tills!Checkout staff are very quick but have a tendency to fling your items through the scanner willy nilly, and pile them up as fast as they can, to see if you can pack them before the pile falls over! Locataed in the town centre and worth a visit if passing.

Poundland is a great place to find a bargain. They sell a wide range of good from household to car, gardening to music, batteries to food etc.

The store can be messy at busy times like weekends but is quite quiet during the week.

A bonus is they now take card payments.
