New nursery for West Rise
NURSERY children have been enjoying a new facility.
West Rise Community Infant School has a new nursery and children's centre in the school grounds at Chaffinch Road.
Both the staff and children moved in on Monday, January 21, and have settled in quickly.
Lynne Weir, headteacher, said, "We feel very lucky to have such a high quality learning environment for our nursery children, enabling staff to lay firm foundations for learning at West Rise.
"We have lots to celebrate at West Rise, excellent results, a very happy school and now a lovely new nursery."
