ASDA cheque presentation

ASDA at Eastbourne has handed over two cheques to local good causes.

They were the winners of a charity initiative run in store when shoppers vote for their favourite good cause.

SASBAH received a £200 cheque after getting the most votes over the last two months and Melanie Adams and Peter Cook from Brewers, which nominated the charity, are pictured picking up the cheque on behalf of it.

Also pictured are St Andrew’s Infants School children who received £50 as runners up.

Bushy Wood Scout Camp was also a runner up and received £50.

The current charities competing for cash are Hazel Court School, Eastbourne cardiac nurses and the Special Parents organisation and voting will take place throughout June and July.
