Safety award for Eastbourne company

AN EASTBOURNE business has been award for its safety record - for the third year in succession.

Clarke Roofing Southern Ltd has again won the Gold Safety in Roofing Award for their commitment to health & safety during 2011.

This is the third time in succession the company has won the award from the National Federation of Roofing Contractors who have an extremely strict assessment criteria.

Managing Director Frank Clarke said, “I am very pleased we have won the award again this year as it proves our company’s continual commitment to health & safety.”

Ian Pickard of IDP Safety Services, who are also based in Eastbourne, has been looking after Clarke’s health and safety requirements for many years.

Ian said, “Frank Clarke takes health and safety extremely seriously and all staff have attended various safety courses to enable them to undertake their particular roles safely, which is why they have one of the best accident records in the industry.”
