TONIGHT (Wednesday), at 7.15pm, Liz Thorpe Tracey will talk to members of the Devonshire Park Evening Townswomen’s Guild about ‘An Introduction to the Digital Age’ in All Saint’s Church Hall, Grange Road. All ladies welcome.
ALSO TODAY, Val Cornish and Brenda Gower give the lunchtime Concert in All Soul’s Church, Susan’s Road, 1 pm. Next week Mark Smith and Anastasia Witts will entertain with classical songs.
TODAY (Wednesday) the President of the Eastbourne Rambling Club will lead a three-and-a-half mile walk starting 6.55pm from Wilmington car park. For transport meet at The Avenue at 6.30pm. Bring a picnic to eat at the finish.
TONIGHT at 7.30pm in St. Andrew’s United Reformed Church, Blackwater Road, Ashley Grote from Gloucester Cathedral, presents an organ recital. On Saturday, June 23, there is a Master Organ Class in the church with Stephen Disley from Southwark Cathedral. ON FRIDAY, June 22, 8 pm, the Alan Barnes Quartet will play some classic and modern jazz compositions in the Underground Theatre, Grove Road. Tickets, £11, available in advance from the TIC or at the door. At the Saturday Coffee morning (June 23 10am-noon) David Greenwood and Brian Worland play Show and Jazz tunes on the piano.
VOLUNTEERING with the Samaritans can be very rewarding and satisfying. On Tuesday, June 26 the Samaritans hold an informal information session at their premises, 13, Bolton Road, at 7.30pm.
ON MONDAYS, except Bank Holidays, a Story Time Session is held for pre-school children in the Children’s Library, Grove Road. On Wednesdays during term time, there is a Rhyme Time - 10.30am-11pm.

THE Arlington Road and College Road medical practices will accept unused prescription medicines and forward them to Inter Care, which supplies medical aid to Africa. All medicines should be in complete ‘strips’ and still in the manufacturers box. In order to comply with World Health Organisation guidelines on drug donations. All items, both medicine or instruments/bandages etc. must have at least 15 months left before their expiry date..
