ON Saturday, April 28, Kevin and Mark Taylor will playing at a coffee morning in the Under Ground Theatre, Grove Road, 10am to noon.

In the evening, at 7.30pm, singers and dancers from South Africa present a mix of African harmonies.

At 3.30pm they will present a workshop for the energetic. Tickets only in person from the Hailsham Pavilion, or call 841414.

RATTON School show their talents in a gala concert in the Congress Theatre on Sunday, April 29 at 7.30pm. Tickets are priced £8.50.

ON Mondays at the WRVS members of the Complementary Therapist Association present various treatments. Book on 720876.

ON MAY 1 at 2.30pm Sue Brooks will be speaking on North America to the Friendship Club at the Central Methodist Church Hall.

ALSO on May 1, a speech and language therapist is at the Devinshire Chidren’s Centre, Seaside, 12.30pm-2pm. If you have any concerns about your child’s speech you might like to meet with him/her. The Young Parents Group meets at the same time, and ‘stand alone’ advice ‘drop ins’ are held 9.30am-noon. Ring 464160.

ON MAY 3 the Senior Club of Eastbourne will hold a handmade craft exhibition in the Arndale Centre.

ON MAY 5, 10.30am-1pm, a Spring Fayre will be held in aid of church maintenance in the Methodist Church Hall.

DON’T bin postage stamps, they can help to raise funds for Leukaemia Research - £ 41.500 in just over 20 years. The stamps can be left at Waitrose Pharmacy or Central Methodist Church coffee Lounge. Please ensure a half inch border is left around the stamp.

ON Wednesday, 11.30am–12.30pm gentle exercises and relaxation classes are held in the WRVS Centre, Hyde Road. All ages and abilities are welcome. The classes are run by Peter Neter, a Shiatsu Practitioner. All work is done sitting on a chair.

THE ST. John’s Guild meet on Wednesday, May 2, at the Blind Centre, 124, Longstone Road, 2.15pm to 4.15pm. There will be a speaker, followed by tea and cake. The afternoon concludes with a very short service. Further details from Chris Mullens on 840672.

A SPRING fayre is being held in the Central Methodist Church Hall, Langney Road, on Saturday, May 5, 10am-1pm There will be various stalls and refreshments available.

EASTBOURNE Allotments and Gardens Society, in conjunction with Age Concern, has a garden share scheme, which matches those seeking a garden with elderly folk whose gardens are too big to manage. This gives an opportunity for someone to look after part of a garden and to share the produce. Apply to Emma Vieira at Age Concern, Eastbourne on 638474.
