ON FRIDAY, April 20, cricket legend Henry Blofield will share his opinions on cricket, life and BBC Test Match Special at the Underground Theatre at 3pm and 7.30pm.

Tickets, £15, at the event or Tourist Information Centre. AT THE Coffee Morning tomorrow (Saturday, 10am-noon) Nick Westcott and Nigel Trangmar will play guitar music and there will be a display of bags and handmade jewellery which is also for sale.

ON Wednesday (April 25), 7.30pm, guitarist and violinist Phil Beer will be playing for the Eastbourne Music Festival. Tickets £8.50 to be collected in person at the Hailsham Pavilion or on 841414

ON Sunday, April 22, the Rambling Club has a 10-mile ramble starting at North Road, Alfriston, at 10am. Meet at the Avenue at 9.30am.for transport. A dry lunch at Firle will be available.

THE Eastbourne Seniors Club in Cornfield Road will, on April 24, be having a speaker from Steps at their coffee morning, 10am

On Thursday, May 3, its group has a crafts exhibition in the Arndale

ON Monday, April 23, 2.30pm, the Ladybirds will entertain the Womens Fellowship in the Central Methodists Church, whil on Tuesday, 7.45pm, the Wesley Guild has a fun evening of Call my Bluff - all welcome.

ON April 24, Glyn Scivener will speak on the work of Revival, in Lismore Road, to the New Hope Baptist Church friendship hour.

ON Wednesday, April 25 Edward Paget will speak about Elephants to the Saffrons Ladies Club in St Saviours Church Hall, 10am.

THE Samaritans have an Open Evening at The Haven, 13 Bolton Road at 7.30pm on Wednesday.

FROM April 26 until the end of May, staff of the Devonshire Childrens Centre in Seaside are running a relaxed hands-on cookery course, 9.30am/11.30am

THE Arlington Road medical practice can accept unused medicines which will be forwarded foe aid in Africa.
