CHURCHES Together in Polegate, Willingdon and Jevington celebrated St George’s Day with hymns, and readings from the combined churches of Apostolic Church, Willingdon St Andrews, Jevington St George’s, Polegate, St John’s, Polegate, St Mary’s Willingdon, St Wilfrids, Willingdon, and Trinity, Willingdon.

Not only did we celebrate William Shakespeare’s birthday, the Queen’s 86th birthday but also the origins of the story of St George.
