Or there is a fugure of eight, Barcombe Mills to Isfield, 5 miles, flat riverside walk, fields, disused railway, could be muddy if wet, three stiles with Barry

COFFEE morning on Saturday, May 5, at Polegate Community Centre hosted by the Social Section. All welcome in the lounge from 10am.

CHURCHES Together in Polegate, Willingdon and Jevington celebrated St George’s Day with hymns, and readings from the combined churches of Apostolic Church, Willingdon St Andrews, Jevington St George’s, Polegate, St John’s, Polegate, St Mary’s Willingdon, St Wilfrids, Willingdon, and Trinity, Willingdon.

Not only did we celebrate William Shakespeare’s birthday, the Queen’s 86th birthday but also the origins of the story of St George.
