Down Your Way: Meads - May 23

THERE is a Community Market on June 9, 10am-noon. at Redman King House, Meads Road (corner of Granville Road). There will fresh local farm produce. jams, homemade cakes and pastries, make up and jewellery, cards, soaps and, of course, bric-a-brac.

Stallholders fees will be donated to St. Wilfrid’s Hospice. If well attended it is hoped this event will be held every second Saturday through out the year.

THE MCA has a Jubilee Celebration at St John’s Parish Hall, Meads Street, 11am-12.30pm on June 9. Join the MCA for a drink and nibble to celebrate the Queen’s Jubilee.
