Down Your Way (June 27th): Hellingly and Horsebridge

CHURCH SERVICES: Regular Services are on a Thursday at 9.30am – Holy Communion (BCP) and every Sunday 8am Holy Communion at 10.45am and Upper Dicker 9.15 Holy Communion (CW).

OPEN GARDEN: ‘Misty Acres’ on Lower Horsebridge, Hailsham BN27 4DN will be opening its garden each Monday from June 25 to July 16, 11am-4pm. Admission is £3.50, children free. There will be tea and homemade cake with all monies raised going to support people with learning disabilities. Misty Acres is the second house on the left on the A271 going east from the Boship roundabout. Parking is limited.

GO ALONG to the newly-restored function barn at Blackstock Farm, Grove Hill, Hellingly BN27 4HF on Sunday, July 22, 10am-5pm where there is a showcase of traditional and modern handmade items produced by craftspeople from the Weald. There are 26 stalls displaying such items as jam to needlecraft and knitting, costume jewellery to animal portraits and much more. Visit www.wealdcrafts.co.uk. Free entry to show.
