ON SUNDAY, June 3, Eastbourne’s new Tamar class lifeboat will be the representative of the RNLI, in the Thames Diamond Jubilee Pageant, one of the largest flotillas ever assembled on the river.

ON Wednesday, February 22, the Saffrons Ladies Club, which meets in St. Saviour’s Church Hall, South Street at 10am, will have a talk by Philip Garner on Aspects of Eastbourne. SUNDAY services at Hellingly Church this week will be Holy Communion at 8am and again at 10.45am followed by Evensong at 6.30pm. There is also a regular Holy Communion service at 9.30am on a Thursday. Holy Trinity at Upper Dicker Sunday service is at 9.15.
