ONE of the last events on mayor Carolyn Heaps’ agenda before she stepped down was to host a charity casino night in The Loft.

Tuesday’s Birthday Bash and charity casino night was held to raise money for the Tuesday O’Hara Fund, based in Eastbourne and set up in memory of Tuesday who died of leukaemia. The Fund was the mayor’s chosen charity during her last term in office and at the charity night people enjoyed a chocolate fountain, casino tables, cocktails and a raffle.
