A new camera club has been formed in Sovereign Harbour.
The club is open to new members from inside and outside the Harbour and is aimed at all levels of camera users, from beginners to the more experienced user. The club will meet regularly once per month for discussion and sharing of photos and experience – for example, there will also be photo competitions on set themes.
They also plan to hold extra sessions and outings to cover special events such as Airbourne. The meetings will be held in Seamoors Wine Bar at the South Harbour at 10.30am on the second Tuesday of every month, commencing on October 14. Also planned is a workshop on November 18 at the Langham Hotel to review members' questions and issues about use of their cameras.
The chairman of the club is Steve Lashley and the secretary is Sandie Dixon. Initially membership will be free to all, with drinks and coffee available for purchase at the wine bar. If you have any questions or want more details, please call Steve on 478651.
