October was a very busy month for Saffrons members on October 21. A large group enjoyed an excellent Bangers and Mash lunch at Age Concern restaurant.
Our club meeting was on October 28. After our Chairman Celia Waite had presented roses to members with November birthdays, she welcomed 2 visitors and 5 new members to the club. The formal part of the meeting over, everyone settled down to listen to Vincent and friends very enjoyable programme of music. Our next meeting today (wednesday) will be our AGM at 10.15am in St Saviour's and St Peter's church.
