DR J Surtees gave an illustrated talk on Dr Bodkin-Adams.
An enigmatic, and maybe maligned character, but also a very caring man. It was a much enlightening talk, carried out with humour and 'ditties' quoted.
The next gathering will be the annual harvest supper in the Congress Suite on October 20 with superlative entertainment by the Copper family.
