With challenging conditions facing many sectors, one local business is seeing a rapid growth in homeowners looking to add value to existing properties.
Erridge Carpentry specialises in high specification renovations, refurbishments and conversions.
It is seeing a marked increase in the volume of work being done to develop and enhance homes.
The Eastbourne firm is working across the south east and having to manage a business expansion to meet the current demand.
Julian Erridge, director, said,
"While the number of new housing projects is changing, we are experiencing a significant increase in requests to carry out improvements to properties in Sussex, Surrey and Kent. Some of these involve more simple changes to internal layouts, but many are considerably more complex and extensive."
Erridge Carpentry has recently launched a new website and corporate branding and is now looking at other growth opportunities.
